Red Wigglers (Eisenia fetida) are the most popular and efficient composting worms in the world. They reproduce quickly, eat roughly half their body weight in organic matter daily, and produce nutrient-dense castings that supercharge soil health.
Why Red Wigglers?
- 🪱 Prolific eaters — process food waste fast
- 🪱 Rapid reproducers — your population doubles every 60–90 days in ideal conditions
- 🪱 Thrive in bins — perfectly suited for indoor and outdoor worm composting setups
- 🪱 Produce premium castings — the best natural fertilizer available
- 🪱 Hardy and forgiving — great for beginners and experienced composters alike

Shipping & Guarantee
All live worm orders ship Monday through Wednesday in insulated packaging with moist bedding. Our Live Arrival Guarantee ensures your worms arrive alive when proper shipping is selected during extreme temperatures (below 40°F or above 78°F).
Care Tips
When your worms arrive, open the package in a dimly lit area and gently place them on top of moist bedding in your bin. Leave the lid off with a light on for 15–20 minutes — they'll burrow down. Wait 2–3 days before first feeding. For full care instructions, visit our Worm Bin Guides.
