At Wired Worm Farm, we are committed to providing high-quality educational experiences and products. Please review this policy carefully before completing your purchase.


Workshops & Events

Workshop registrations are eligible for refunds up to 48 hours before the scheduled event start time.

  • Refund requests must be submitted in writing at least 48 hours prior to the event.

  • Requests made less than 48 hours before the event are not eligible for a cash refund.

  • In those cases, a credit toward a future workshop may be issued at our discretion.

  • No-shows are not eligible for refunds or credits.

This policy allows us to plan materials, space, and staffing responsibly while keeping workshops accessible and educational.


Live Worms, Compost & Physical Products

Due to the nature of live organisms and perishable goods, all sales of live worms, worm castings, compost, and related products are final.

If there is an issue with your order:

  • Damaged, incorrect, or defective items must be reported immediately upon delivery

  • You must contact us within 48 hours of receipt for the issue to be reviewed

  • Clear photos and a description of the issue may be required

Reports submitted after 48 hours may not be eligible for resolution.

If a claim is approved, we may offer a replacement, store credit, or partial refund, depending on the situation and at our discretion.


Event Cancellations by Wired Worm Farm

If Wired Worm Farm must cancel or reschedule a workshop due to weather, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances, registered participants will be offered:

  • A full refund, or

  • The option to transfer registration to a future workshop

General Terms

By completing a purchase or registering for an event with Wired Worm Farm, you acknowledge and agree to this refund policy. Wired Worm Farm reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time to reflect operational or legal requirements.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. Returns are not permitted on any live products.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
